CTG is paid in brokerage commission when trades are executed for monitoring the signals and executing them accordingly.  There are no other fees.  You keep all the profits!

CTG can increase the number of contracts per commodity as the value of the account appreciates if the client wishes to increase.

CTG follows the signals and executes all orders at the same time in a single block account.  All accounts receive the same entry and exit prices.

 You will be forwarded to a CTG webpage where you'll begin your New Account Application depending on what type of account you are opening (Individual, Joint, IRA, or Corporate/LLC).

Once the account has been reviewed and approved, the next step will be funding the account.  It is very important to note that, due to Anti-Money Laundering Laws, the funds must come from a bank account that is titled the same as your Trading Account.  CTG can reach out to you prior to funding to be sure this is done correctly.

Prior to any auto-trading in the account, CTG will reach out to confirm everything has been set up correctly.

Clients will have access to their account through an online portal.  Account statements are sent out by the FCM (Future Commission Merchant) at the end of the day for your account once the trades have been settled.

Yes!  While it’s true that most FCMs do not permit Canadian accounts, we do work with a very good firm that does in fact allow them.  If you decide to proceed, we’ll refer you to our partner firm that will go over the new account applications with you and make sure you get your account set up.  CTG will still be responsible for executing trades for your account, but the trades will be ‘given up’ to our partner firm that holds your account.  We have worked with them for years and have referred them many Canadian clients.

The max loss we put on any one trade is $500.  The average loss our losing trades thus far has only been approximately $250.   There is no “account max loss” amount set up, but you can stop the trading whenever you choose of course.   If there is a draw-down amount you’d like us to set for your account (ex. 50% total account loss,) you can let us know and we can set an alert to follow that request.

We cannot ensure or guarantee your principal investment.  With futures trading, you are risking whatever amount you invest to trade.  You can of course stop the trading at any time, and even give us a draw-down level (50% for example) at which you wish all trading to stop.  If that were to occur, we’d stop trading for your account and return the balance of your funds.

You can use bank wires or ACH through your bank account directly to your trading account.

 The funds you deposit into a futures trading account are not ever co-mingled with anyone else.  All accounts are segregated and kept that way.

When trades are executed, they are executed in a 'block account' with all other accounts that are trading the exact same system that your account is trading.  Then, the trades are allocated to the respective accounts at an averaged price, so that everyone gets the same fill prices.  

Each trade has it's own defined risk.  It may be $100 risk, or it may be $400 risk.  It depends on the trade set up.  The maximum risk on a single trade is $500.  The average risk per trade averages about $250. Since we rarely do more than 2-3 trades in one day, the most you'd likely risk in one day would be around $750, based on our history.

As far as depositing funds into an IRA account, it’s done through your custodial account.   Your custodian should be able to request funds from your IB account on your behalf, then you can have them send the funds to your new trading account with CTG whenever you're ready.

Say for example there are 10 different accounts opened that we are trading for.  If a signal comes up for us to BUY Gold, we can use a ‘block account’ to quickly Buy 10 contracts at the same time.  Then, the clearing firm allocates 1 contract to each account at the average buy price. That way the orders get done very quickly for each account, and everyone gets their contract and no one gets a better fill than anyone else.

Obviously, the DOT system has been around longer, but we have been trading this new program with real money for 3 months now.  It’s really too soon to base too much on the statistics, or quote a monthly ROR with much accuracy, but we haven’t had a losing month at this point.  The total return since inception is approximately 36%. (Based on $15k account. And of course please know that past results are not indicative of futures performance.)

It’s still early in this specific program, but the indicators we are using have been around a long time and proven themselves.  We are optimistic, but every individual needs to take your time and make sure you’re comfortable with the risk before investing.
